Get ready for the Moyes rumours
Surely Benitez is going to get the sack after today’s result.

The media are going to drum up the speculation over the next few days and Moyes name will be front and centre as an ideal candidate.

He has a lot of history at Everton, has a great relationship with Bill Kenwright who’s still on the board and probably likes living in that part of the country.

They are also moving into a new stadium in a couple of years.

Will he be tempted?

Re: Get ready for the Moyes rumours
Not sure if it still holds after today's result, but after the Norwich win we had the most points we'd ever had in the Premier league era after twenty one games (and I suspect most of our pre-premier league seasons too). Despite us having a crowded fixture list due to a successful so far European campaign as well as (so far) having knocked out three top flight clubs in the domestic cups.

Yet one poor result/performance and people are calling for his head. Utterly embarrassing.

I'd love to know which manager people want to bring in who never makes mistakes.

After today's managerial incompetence they won't want him.
This is his last hooray.
He's done great but fucks up when he gets to the finish line.

It was only about two weeks ago some clowns on here where saying Moyes had lost the dressing room, we would be in a relegation battle and he had two games to save his job!!

Who would have thought two years ago that we would be saying we are 4th and worried that Moyes could leave.

That is probably true to be honest though he did call out that wanker Jim White.

Hammers.

MG was obviously the serious journalist of the two, hence the reason he has a 3 hour daily radio show. I never bought into Parry's buffoonery when the 2 Mikes were a 'double act' on the wireless, there was always a bullying and arrogant cunt behind Parr's facade.

I used to love the Two Mikes but you hardly hear Mike Parry on the radio anymore since he fell out with Mike Graham.

RB - I think they will give it to big Duncan until the summer, restock and having a total re-think. They can't just keep lurching from one manager to the next just hoping it works out. It's a fucking shambles up there.

Potter could be a good shout for the summer though, or possibly Mourinho if anyone still believes in him. Poch?

I'd like to see Everton relegated as it would possibly keep that gobby cunt Mike Parry quiet for a while. Sadly though,i think they'll survive.

Re: Get ready for the Moyes rumours
Everton will try for Graham Potter when Rafa is shown the door. The good news for us is it will strengthen Moyes within the club.

Re: Get ready for the Moyes rumours
pdbis - really…. I don’t think that will ever happen.

Anyway, Moyes will be West Ham manager for at least the next 3-4 years and probably longer…. and then Kevin Nolan / Stuart Pearce will take over and five years after that Mark Noble will take over and five years after that Declan Rice will take over….

I reckon he's of an age where he'll be starting to think about his retirement. I'm certain that he will want to see it through with us until he puts his feet up.

Re: Get ready for the Moyes rumours
Turning the ship around mid season or at least keeping the club above relegation is a pretty thankless job, as he proved twice here. He’s taken a couple of season to build a team good enough for a Champions League place. Not sure he’d want to give that up to go back to square one again.

Moyes is building something special with us, why would he jeooardise that and risk tarnishing his reputation again
